What are you smoking to believe that it is easier to get to Bathurst and Queen's Quay from Scarborough, North York and beyond then to simply drive down the 401 to Pearson? Anywhere in the old City of Toronto, yes, but not from anywhere else.

If I were in your place I would drive east to access the Gardiner at York instead of Spadina on your way to work (turn at either York or Simcoe depending on the lights at Front). There should be no traffic problems at 7am. Thinking of anything else like driving to Simcoe to Bremner to Spadina...
