    Toronto Southcore Financial Centre & Delta Toronto | 159.71m | 45s | GWL | KPMB

The gap is already getting filled with the completion of the Ritz, Shangri-la and the new RBC tower, and new projects like theatre park, various projects in the entertainment district, the mirvish towers if they are approved, and Southcore.

because the views from the CN tower would be blocked if taller towers were surrounding it

^i see what you mean with that pic, I was looking at other photos.

    Toronto 16 York | 154.83m | 32s | Cadillac Fairview | a—A

I know the reasons why companies move, these reasons just annoy me sometimes:p

If it's true that Sunlife is going in this building then that's a shame. I would have hoped to see new companies moving in here, not companies that have been here for decades moving down the street to a new place. What's wrong with their King & University office?

I actually like Aqua. At least they did something to make the balconies look interesting, it just wasn't executed perfectly. Here, I think One Bloor will do better curve wise, I just hope we don't end up with Aura-like cladding.(in other words cheap window wall) P.s. Ushahid- I'm not quite sure...

    Toronto Ïce Condominiums at York Centre | 234.07m | 67s | Lanterra | a—A

The farmland that is currently being replaced with suburbs is some of the best farmland in Canada. That's why the green belt exists. And just because there are trees being planted in new subdivisions does not make up for the thousands of new soccer-mom SUVs that are put on the road with every...

    Toronto 2 Queen West | 34.44m | 7s | Cadillac Fairview | Zeidler

I can certainly understand a building with 8 stories having no parking, but 65 stories? It seems a bit crazy to me. I wonder if they'll have trouble keeping the building occupied.

[expensive] eh? at least they are being honest about it.:p tower looks very sleek.

    Toronto Aura at College Park | 271.87m | 78s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

"Canada's tallest residential building" does not deserve such a pathetic and lifeless mall. I don't even know if it qualifies as a mall.

    Toronto Ripley's Aquarium of Canada | 13.11m | 2s | Ripley Entertainment | B+H

While I agree that the aquarium caters to mostly children, it was quite educational, there were plaques describing different fish and their habitats, and also environmental facts about fisheries and such. Not what you would expect from the "Ripley's" brand.

I just went today and it was great! The only two complaints I have is that 1) it was WAY too crowded. it seemed like the layout design did not anticipate huge crowds like the one there was today. 2) the cafeteria, while the food was surprisingly good, there where literally 10 tables. Me and my...

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

The city's skyline is not exactly at the top of their priority list. Besides with these towers, all right next to each other, and all around the same height? They would already look weird on the skyline.

    Toronto Aura at College Park | 271.87m | 78s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

^^ Thanks for the info! I really hope the roof (and light feature) can save this tower.

    Toronto Aura at College Park | 271.87m | 78s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

Have you ever even seen a third world street before? Yonge st. Is not a third world street. End of discussion. Back to aura: just out of curiosity, does anybody know how many meters the curved roof will add to the structure? Tower's pretty tall already, I thought they would have started it by now.

    Burlington Paradigm Condominiums (Burlington) | ?m | 18s | Molinaro Group | Graziani + Corazza

I passed by this site today, and having seen the plans they have here and the size of the lot itself? Not a whole lot of room to work with, unless they remove a section of the adjacent Walmart parking lot. Otherwise not a lot of progress except of course the sales center.

    Toronto Bay Adelaide Centre | 217.92m | 51s | Brookfield | KPMB

It's not that bad. At least it's not conservatory group crap or twin trumps. Sure the design is nothing new, but at least it adds good density downtown and the quality is good.

    Toronto Ïce Condominiums at York Centre | 234.07m | 67s | Lanterra | a—A

Pretty soon they'll be starting the Swiss cheese roof on the second tower. Amazing amount of progress here.
