    Any transit improvement is a success. Moreover, if it overloaded, then the government have pressure to build another relief line serving other communities fast. (probably woodbine + O'Connor - Parkview)

    There are hidden cost (other than the official price tag) if we build a heavy metro. There is just not enough demand outside of the downtown core in the Toronto's suburban to support another heavy metro. The line will extend "eventually" and it just not worth the cost to construct a heavy metro...

    No one said the Ontario Line will be a light metro, it can carry more passenger than line 4 (even line 1) with 100 meters trains and better frequency.

    For the red alignment, it is difficult(does not improve travel time) for people living at North Etobicoke to go to Wilson. They either take a bus -> red line -> bus again, or bus -> red line -> transfer at Downsview park -> Wilson

    To reduce the cost of charging $1 per car for small business, there should be a provincial system where business owner can bill a car license plate, then the driver must pay when they want to renew their driver license. There needs to be a low cost but secure car detection system to implement...

    While TTC is converting busy bus routes to LRTs, nothing is proposed for the busiest section of road in Ontario.

    People who will take to Ontario Line are generally on the east side because line 1 exists. Bringing the line to 404/Steeles provides better connections to TTC/YRT buses and even GO buses that run on Hwy 404. Plus, there isn't much space for a bus terminal at Don Mills/Steeles.
