Mississauga Soccer Stadium (Canadian Premier League, other events)

The Playdium go-cart track and adjacent empty field is able to fit the original BMO stadium (21,000 capacity). If they are looking for a stadium to hold 10,000, it could work. Parking would be less of a factor considering the Rathburn HLRT station will be right beside it.

Mississauga Square One Expansions and Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Oxford Properties | MMC Architecture

This would be an interesting fit. I wonder if Square One is on the list. https://www.thestar.com/entertainment/stage/2018/06/13/cirque-du-soleil-coming-to-a-greater-toronto-mall.html

    Square One Shopping Centre

I wonder if Cirque is considering the theatre (Old Empire Theatre) area at Square One. Certainly would fit in with the new Food District and Entertainment theme and have the height for acrobats, bungee jumping and trampolines...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I wonder if they know that buses along Hurontario will still be running when the LRT is operational. and that the LRT will be a separate fare from Miway.

    Square One Shopping Centre

Some changes at the mall. Relocating to larger areas are Le Vie En Rose, Lush and Gateway Newstands. Freshly Squeezed and Kernels are renovating. In spring Papa Roti, Auntie Anns, DHL, Sansotei Ramen, Su & Bu and Crepe Delicious will be opening. In summer Miniso, Nike and Links of London...

    Square One Shopping Centre

This was just posted on CBC. http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/ghermezian-family-new-mall-new-jersey-1.4478295 I would give credit to Square One concerning upkeep and maintenance. When I worked at West Edmonton Mall (owned by the same family as American Dream) a lot of areas needed work. I...

    Mississauga Mississauga Transitway | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | IBI Group

It's an office complex. There is also a restaurant at the far right of the photo called "The Wild Goose". A few US retail chains have their Canadian Head Offices there.

    Toronto Sherway Gardens Expansion | ?m | 2s | Cadillac Fairview | DIALOG

I wonder if the CF paid for the Sage shopfits. It's only moved three times in less than two years!

    Mississauga Mississauga Transitway | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | IBI Group

Agree, I also wonder why they couldn't build a single station (for the larger stops) in the middle, rather than two on each side of the roadway. Save on costs, construction time and maintenance.

    Mississauga Wesley Tower at Daniels City Centre | ?m | 43s | Daniels | Rafael + Bigauskas

Looking at what they've done in Regent Park, Daniels seems to be a good fit with a project like this. It will be interesting to see if there will be any impact on sales in the other tower.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I wonder if the added costs and "what changes next?" will turn the entire HUR LRT into an election issue both provincially and municipally in 2018.

    Toronto Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Maples have a hard time with salty soil. I imagine they salt this area heavily in the winter and over time will accumulate in the soil. Honey Locust, some Oak varieties would do much better and actually thrive. I understand maples match the pattern along the walkways, but they will have to...

    Toronto Pearson International Airport

I grew up inside the 5 mi circle to the east. It was loud sometimes. A 727 or a DC-9 could really screech. Here is a handy web site that tracks the noise monitoring stations around Pearson. It also shows the flights and aircraft types. It's about ten minutes behind so its not "truly live"...

    Square One Shopping Centre

Quite a bit coming to the mall in the next six months. Reds Wine Tavern (Fall), Genesis, COS, Tory Burch, Maska, Rita Scimento, Kids Foot Locker/Fly Zone and Matt and Nat (coming this summer). Looks like the Rec Room will not be accessible from the mall, probably due to their operating hours...

    Mississauga M1 & M2 at M City | 197.81m | 60s | Rogers Real Estate | Core Architects

As a person who lives in the area I'm looking forward to this development going up. I'm curious how they will manage traffic flow from the buildings to the main streets. Especially around the Confederation and Burnhamthorpe intersection. Thanks for all the photos!

    Mississauga Brightwater | ?m | 35s | Kilmer | Giannone Petricone

They do have plans to help with the alignment that drum118 has mentioned. This will greatly help with pedestrian safety when vehicles take a right turn off of Stavebank to Lakeshore. As for a left turn lane onto Stavebank from Lakeshore, I don't think they have the space unless they get rid...
