    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

The entire road'll be repaved eventually and they'll rebuild it properly (I bloody hope). This design will kinda do for now. I saw them working on Shaw already, seems it'll be done before it was supposed to be!

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Tory can't remove road lanes and parking because then he couldn't go anywhere.

    Laneway Housing and Garden Suites

Huh, I remember reading that the laneway unit couldn't be sold separately, but maybe that was regarding a specific case and not generally. Cool!

    Laneway Housing and Garden Suites

Ever think the city would allow people to sell their laneway property, but keep the main property?

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

So let's say a train breaks down, will there be enough switches/a system in place to allow for other trains to kinda simply go around it, do you reckon?

Wait, is the crosstown running on the left side?

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Now would be a good time for them to invest heavily then, if ridership is down they can upgrade the system faster surely? Ridership bouncing back could coincide with RER

    Toronto The Dupont | 36.55m | 9s | Tridel | Turner Fleischer

We could increase 26 frequency or, hear me out, we install more track and install some stops on the CP tracks just north of Dupont!

GO Transit: Union Station Shed Replacement & Track Upgrades (Zeidler)

I've heard people suggest the cars CalTrain use for this reason, buying a batch of those and slowly upgrading the platforms throughout their 30-40+ year lifespan would be the best way to spread out the cost, but you're right, doubt it's really worth it. I imagine there'd be some stations that'd...

Edward Street - no traffic lights?

There's talks of pedestrianizing College to Queen(?), so this'd solve the issue for this stretch. Hopefully it actually happens.

GO Transit: Union Station Shed Replacement & Track Upgrades (Zeidler)

It'll never not amaze me seeing how low the platforms are, I'm rarely in Union or on GO but every time I see a picture I'm shocked. Hoping RER brings higher platforms, for no reason other than it looks odd seeing them so low.

Edward Street - no traffic lights?

I would imagine it's considered too close to Dundas, wouldn't want to interrupt traffic flow on the 40kmph highways

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Yeah, I guess I'm just dreaming. I can just see the transit-mall area on King being beautified, APS I think I remember it being called, this is a cool idea too. Everyone keeps pointing out we should fix other stuff first, which I guess it fair. Would be nice for somewhere like King St. though.

    GO Transit Electrification | Metrolinx

Yeah, 6 years for a new train tech seems way too short for our non-trailblazer system. We need something that works, then we can muck about with new stuff.

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

I don't to go off topic but what's with that CBC article missing a bunch of spaces between words?

Cycling: West Toronto Railpath (City of Toronto, Phase II Proposed)

Most exits look like they have stairs, no ramps?

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

No one's talking about the battery. I'd love to see some streetcar route stretches, perhaps on King, without the catenary.

TTC CLRV Streetcars: Where will they go once they are retired?

Saw these bad boys rolling down Bathurst today, any idea where they were headed?

Ontario legalizing e-scooters!!! (Bird, Lime, segway, electric kickscooter, micro mobility, electric skateboards)

I fully support everyones right to not wear a helmet, and don't own one myself since I don't feel they're necessary for a regular push bike, personally. That being said when it comes to personal vehicles with a motor, electric or not, (and yeah, I would love legislation forcing drivers and...
