Taken today by my passenger going southbound on Bathurst.

Park Lawn Lake Shore Transportation Master Plan

Agreed, I personally think the current cross section on Park Lawn should be maintained (4 lanes). Park Lawn will maintain two northbound lanes between the Relief Road / South Ramp Terminal and the North Ramp Terminal, but then the left lane becomes a must exit to the Gardiner westbound on-ramp...

Park Lawn Lake Shore Transportation Master Plan

The problem with connecting the westbound off-ramp and eastbound on-ramp directly to the Relief Road is the Gardiner bypass traffic which is already a reported problem for the eastbound direction. Vehicles getting off at Park Lawn and then back on from the Brooker's Lane ramp skip the Gardiner...

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

I haven't looked into this in detail, but limited transit priority is still transit priority. The ability to extend green times so the vehicle can clear the intersection is already a significantly beneficial measure which will cut delays. At the same time, you need a maximum green time to...

    The PIC website looks great.

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

I'm honestly a bit tired of hearing the concept of induced demand as the means to cancel any road infrastructure project, it really isn't that simple. At a high level, yes, induced demand acts to attract additional traffic to a new, more attractive, route option when it is introduced. The fact...

Pretty good for a pandemic year!

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

The thing is that it was just a big empty field before. Sure, it's a bit industrial, but it's definitely better than nothing.

Broadview Extension Environmental Assessment (City of Toronto)

Thanks, you bring up some very valid points. I didn't think much of the transition to the existing Broadview alignment, and I'd definitely rather see cycling facilities than a second lane of parked cars. My initial resentment was definitely over the default approach being a single auto lane...

Broadview Extension Environmental Assessment (City of Toronto)

Hm, I never new "complete street" meant one vehicle lane per direction. Seems kind of early to limit capacity like that before even getting into the EA stage, not to mention trip forecasting and mode split. I guess we just use a one-size-fits-all model for planning now..

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

Really? I'm measuring it as 350 metres walking distance, or approximately 5 minutes. Definitely falls within the catchment area of the station..

I agree that I prefer the two separate stations. The concept for a centred "Bay Station" between Queen and Osgoode was largely a cost cutting measure, not the option that would garner the most ridership. Remember that removing Osgoode also loses out on much of the employment and population...

Toronto Scotiabank North Tower at Bay Adelaide Centre | 140.2m | 32s | Brookfield | KPMB

I'm also wondering what Scotiabank is going to do with signage on this building. Did the east tower never have north facing Deloitte signage? I'm pretty excited for this third tower to round out the development, I kind of see the group as a nod to the TD Centre towers.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Dubai is quite a comparison.. Although I definitely agree. On the TTC Vaughan extension we have massive overbuilt stations, here we have these minimal coverings that still probably cost a ton. There's gotta be a middle ground.

2131 Yonge St (Art Shoppe Condos) (Freed Developments) - Real Estate -

I'm a resident at another Freed-Capital developed building, 150 Redpath. I assume you use Enercare submetering at your building too? These Freed-Capital buildings seem to all have the same problems.

    Toronto 150 Redpath Condominiums | 132.28m | 38s | Freed | a—A

Can confirm, people are moving into the building. Hate to bump a thread without any update, but I was wondering if it's possible to get architectural plans of the inside of the building, the parking area in particular. Does anyone know if something like that is typically made public?

    Toronto 175 Wynford Drive | 177m | 54s | Freed | AS + GG

I'm so confused as to where this is. Is this on the site of the existing Don Valley Hotel? Looks like the left tower in that first render is directly in front of the other newer tower on the site, is that why we can't see it?

    Toronto East Harbour | 214.2m | 65s | Cadillac Fairview | Adamson

It really does look great. Isn't the GO station planned in addition to the TTC stop which was originally part of DRL? I thought both would intersect, creating a new transit hub.
