    Rob Ford's Toronto

*Word* to both parts of this. I think the writer of the article is reeaally reaching, and sounding rather 'pseudo' and pretentious with it. As in...dude, it's a discussion forum; that's what it's for. *snort* When don't Canadians like to follow and discuss politics? On or off-line. And...

(Re post from Greg Banks - sorry, still trying to figure out how to line up responses on this board - newbie) Hmmm. Disappointed to hear it but your viewpoint likely more accurate than mine from here and mostly North York/East York when I lived there. My sense of how the other candidates may...

Hadn't seen this discussed as yet...think this complaint will go anywhere? http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/toronto/toronto-man-files-complaint-against-rob-ford-for-racial-slurs/article19652656/?cmpid=rss1

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Yes. All that, clothed in the trappings of respectability. After all, he's still the Mayor in spite of everything. A teflon-coated trainwreck has a weird sort of appeal. Stupefaction that he can get away with it...and so much of it (!) when you just know you couldn't. Not that you'd want...

Roads: Front Street East finally getting repaved

Agree! Community involvement is the surest way to keep the beauty in 'beautification' projects. Do hope you don't have to look at dead plants and weeds all summer. Good point about the sheer amount of replanting needed this year, though.
