I don’t get what the big fence on the sides are for.

That’s half the reason why we didn’t have fare integration till now (the other half being agencies didn’t want to lose revenue). This many different agencies, each with their own fare policies, meant a lot of edge cases that had to be worked out.

I wonder how many people will use Pioneer Village station as a pedestrian tunnel after fare integration. Tap in at the entrance next to the YRT bus terminal, then exit at the TTC bus terminal without boarding a train. This provides an indoor, signal-free way to cross Steeles.

Put a LRT pictogram sticker over the 3 and a 7 sticker over the LRT pictogram. Of course, it’ll look cheap and won’t light up, but you won’t have to redo the sign!

I expect there will be proposals to widen the DVP and perhaps add HOV lanes eventually (though I believe it's been ruled out in the short term).
