    Hamilton King William Urban Rentals | 97.56m | 30s | LIUNA | Graziani + Corazza

I think the height is fine, especially given that it's adjacent to the King William restaurant strip.

    LCBO / The Beer Store

Also, there's the benefit of local economic development. LCBO showcases Ontario products, particularly wine, over other products, including giving Ontario wines prime shelf space. Unfortunately, product consultants are becoming fewer and fewer. You've also seen an overall decrease in store...

    Toronto Waterworks Building Redevelopment | 47.55m | 13s | MOD Developments | Diamond Schmitt

Impressed by the list of vendors. I find the Edison-lightbulb-and-metal-bar-stools vibe played out, but I will still check it out.

    Toronto West Don Lands: Block 13 | 139.31m | 43s | Dream | Henriquez Partners

Yikes, what a step down. Especially concerning given that Dream is developing Quayside around the corner.

    Hudson's Bay Company

Definitely feels like a Hail Mary.

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

    Toronto 41-45 Spadina Road | 55.5m | 15s | ProWinko | a—A

100% It's a beautiful neighbourhood with some of Toronto's best architecture. I disagree with you on this. I know many people who work and/or prefer to live in condos in Downtown Toronto, but have been priced out and live in condos in Etobicoke or Scarborough.

Problematic Park Design - Why Some Parks Don't Work

Thanks @Northern Light for the lovely surprise this morning. Great tour and review. A few thoughts: I agree that the parkette mostly succeeds, but could use some tweaks in certain places. Considering that a key purpose behind the park is to remember veterans, it still finds spots to be...

    Toronto École Secondaire Greenwood | ?m | 4s | Conseil Scolaire Viamonde | Snyder

I’m oddly warming up to the reno. The selection of the grey panels appears to respect the original better than the initial renders. The landscaping is above average for a school.

The seemingly terminal decline of Tim Hortons

https://www.blogto.com/eat_drink/2024/07/toronto-neighbourhood-raises-concern-tim-hortons/ In recent years Tims has closed dining areas in some Toronto and Hamilton locations, including shutting down washroom access, mostly due to security issues.
