Bradford Bypass (MTO, Hwy 400 - Hwy 404)

They've certainly had no problems releasing 400-series numbers very far advance before - to the point that it all changed by the time it was built. Such as 410 going south all the way to the QEW. And 403 running along Eastgate in the east and joining the 401 further east (and in an even earlier...

    VIA Rail

io.net is just the most recent version of it. The groups.io lists I'm still on date into the previous century; some even into the 1980s. Some even back to Listserv. (personally I preferred Majordomo). I don't recall much cross-over between Usenet and Listserv - they existed concurrently...

Bradford Bypass (MTO, Hwy 400 - Hwy 404)

I'd think 408 is reserved for the stretch of highway 8 already built to 400-series databases.

    Toronto Union Pearson Express | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | MMM Group Limited

Though I'm starting to think that the constructing on Victoria Park at Lawrence is a factor in the DVP. It took 13 minutes to go 450 metres today on the 924 express bus. Google Timeline thought I'd got off the bus and wad walking!

Well it could be worse. biWay? yiWay? If they were to merge Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon; they could call it triWay.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

A bit slower than Line 2, when you have the massive gaps from Victoria Park to Kennedy. But calculate the Line 2 speed for the original section, from Woodbine to Keele. I'd bet it's closer to 28 km/hr. We've done this math more than once in the past decade or two, in this thread.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I'd have assumed it was the 501B bus, that currently loops near Broadview/Gerrard - and at Dufferin Loop if I've got this week's schedule straight.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

It would certainly have to be immediately reported, if it's a private entity. The ministry has a 24-7 staffed hotline for stuff like this. If they hadn't reported this to MoE(CP) by ... perhaps 8 AM at the very latest, even heads should be rolling at TTC. I don't think there any exemptions for...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Is that the real reason that service was stopped between Broadview and Woodbine for a bit? Though TTC seems pretty confused about that.

The Monday northbound drive on 404 has deterioration since Spring started. Perhaps more returning to the work place.

OP was referring to the actual velocity. Not the average.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Looks a lot faster than 22 km/hr in that video above. I doubt the average would even be as low as 22 km/hr between Leslie and Kennedy. And probably similar to the subway over the whole line, hitting the low 30s.

This should read licence plates. :) Perhaps if they could reinstate it, then people wouldn't drive as badly as they do now. I remember when they used to staple the polling list to the phone poles! I never realised how Italian the one neighbourhood I lived in was, until I saw that.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

How do they know if your layover at Union was 3 hours, or 2 hours and 45 minutes? If you catch the early morning train at Niagara Falls and tap at 6:15 AM, arrive in Union at 9:04 AM, then catch the next Barrie train (9:54), and arrive in Barrie at 11:37 AM. Let's say your are just 10 minutes...

Bradford Bypass (MTO, Hwy 400 - Hwy 404)

Maybe to get shovels in the ground sooner, so there's less chance a future government would cancel it.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Part does now - most of the Conestoga is 7. But originally it followed King Street from Preston to Queen Street (Highway 7) in Kitchener. Passing along Dundas Street in Galt too. Though I suppose Line 85 is an option too. :)

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

Part of it has since been sterilized with the Exhibition Ontario Line station, tracks, and the Libertry "New Street". I think some of those new buildings in the Ordnance Triangle cause a problem too. I don't see how they do it now, without literally elevating it over the GO Tracks, east of...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

    Oh joy - they'll restore pre-Covid streetcar service in 3 years. #TTCFail
