There has been active talk of redoing Brant Street as a "greenway" between King Street and Richmond. I believe that this will only occur following then construction of the Waterworks project and the following expansion and redesign of St. Andrews Park.

Regarding the meeting: Planning is not "hung up" on heritage. At least one of the buildings is designated, so there is a serious issue that must be resolved with respect to that matter. Originally, the intention was to maintain only the facades of the structures - something the city did oppose...
