You're probably right. However, don't get overly optimistic because you're looking at Dixie Station, one of the longer stations on the transitway built to accommodate GO buses.

    Moose Rail (National Capital Region)

Just to clarify. So you're saying that this proposal will fail because it cannot attract the necessary number of developments and therefore riders, and even if it does attract enough developments parts of the developments will be so far from the stations that using it would not be practical and...

    407 Transitway

If we really want trains than make it an o-bahn system. It is the best of both worlds.

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

How about we just keep the existing signals(make them red light and advanced right turn only) and add a separate transit signal like the ones on Spadina and make it for TTC and bikes?

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

That would be a good ultimate goal. But first, we need to increase the speed limit to improve safety.

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

Agreed. The speed limit on these limited-access highways should be increased to 130km/h except for urban sections.

I don't think the station platforms(bus bays) are big enough to fit an LRV length vehicle. Bi-articulated buses are probably the upper limit.

    Toronto Kipling Station Transit Hub | ?m | 2s | Metrolinx | SAI

As in extending the subway up to Renforth Transitway Station?

    Toronto Kipling Station Transit Hub | ?m | 2s | Metrolinx | SAI

Do you mean a short extension or a long extension to Hurontario? A short extension west to Cloverdale has been talked about for many years but nothing ever happened and so it it safe to assume that it wouldn't happen in the near future. So in the meanwhile, it is better to build this bus...

    Mississauga Mississauga Transitway | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | IBI Group

Although I understand your point, I believe this has been talked about many times in this thread. The primary purpose of the Mississauga Transitway is to speed up routes 107 and 109(which it has done a very good job at), and not to attract passengers at stations along the way. The Transitway is...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

I believe the money is being used to develop Cooksville GO into a mobility hub and an 'urban' station. Link to the study here.

Cannot agree more. Instead using it to arm themselves with useful information, lots of people are using technology purely for entertainment and pleasure. Poor use of technology is making us more and more 'shallow'. People (in general) are becoming less and less concerned with events that...

    The Future of Bombardier

I haven't heard much about Bombardier (or Canada) challenging the American tariff lately, so are we going to take this matter sitting down or what?

From SQ1? Your options are either 107 or 109. The combined frequency of the 2 routes is pretty high so you probably don't have to consult a schedule.

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

Thunder Bay Bombardier workers 'doing everything' they can to meet TTC streetcar quota: union president Is this a typo or am I getting something wrong?

    Toronto Pearson International Airport

Exactly what I was thinking. Have a northern hub at Malton GO(connects to train services) and use Renforth Gateway as the southern hub(connects to rapid transit services along Eglinton). Connect the two up with a rapid transit service be it an extension of the Crosstown LRT or a separate...

I'm willing to bet it is.

    Toronto Pearson International Airport

I completely agree. I am thinking of having two hubs at Renforth Station and Malton GO and connecting the two via Pearson Airport with a single rapid transit line.
