    Toronto 572 Church Street | 44.5m | 12s | Fieldgate | Arcadis

A bit off topic, but it'd be smart for The Beer Store to expand on their express concept. The one-story brick and mortar + parking lot concept certainly doesn't work one block away from one of our busiest streets and subway lines. I'm happy to see Church Street densify.

Thank goodness. A condo is better than a Beer Store/parking lot set up that looks like it's straight from Saskatchewan. Toronto L-Tower | 204.82m | 58s | Cityzen | Daniel Libeskind

I work in tourism in the summer doing bus tours, and the L Tower is the tower I get the most questions on. A lot of visitors really like it.

Saks Fifth Avenue Flagship (Queen & Yonge)

I was talking to my friend who works for HBC tonight. He confirmed Saks will only take floors 1-4 on the east side of the building (Yonge/Queen). Apparently a big reason for that was due to the window displays.

Man, that podium already looks 10x better without the overhead. Actually growing on me along with the tower.

This is one of the most sad looking corners in the city of Toronto. Thanks goodness it's being razed. Goodbye roach-infested Dundas Square Hotel.
