Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension

I'm not sure how you can still be optimistic about this project after Ford's announcement. He basically gave DRL/OL and Yonge-North priority over this project. The new delay means it can be delayed even further now.

    Pickering Airport (Transport Canada/GTAA, Proposed)

Anybody living, lets say west of Yonge St. would still go to Pearson even if Pickering was open. Unless they were saving way more money.

    Toronto 4155 Yonge | 42.44m | 11s | GreenCity | Richard Wengle

Thanks. I had seen that in my google search but wasn't sure if that was from the previous project that the OMB didn't allow. This location is currently a paid parking lot (that is always full).

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Ford had support during the election from the Convenience Store Association. This is his way of paying them back. I agree ts dumb to burn money on this policy change. I would just ride out the deal and then bring in the changes. I personally haven't stepped foot in a Beer Store since my local...

    So is this thing approved?

2 wrongs don't make a right though. Its not like Ford has tried to sell of the rest, yet.

    Pickering Airport (Transport Canada/GTAA, Proposed)

This doesn't really work though. The location at Terminal 1 where Air Canada runs its flights to Sault Ste. Marie only handles small planes (Dash-8's, Q400's etc.). This is gates D1-D10. So even if you got rid of a flight to Sault St. Marie (or Thunder Bay, London, Windsor, etc). you wouldn't...

    Pickering Airport (Transport Canada/GTAA, Proposed)

I actually wonder if a Federal Conservative government would push for an Island expansion. We already know that Ford is ready and willing to step over the City.

I guess Pizza Fest is going to have to move.

    2019 Canadian Federal Election

More like Warren Kinsella, still pissed at what Martin did to Cretien

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Wynne signed a deal that was good for the Beer Store and bad for the people of Ontario. So yes, its her fault. This is an aside from the fact that Ford is a fucking idiot who is doing a bad job of running the Province.

This just goes to show once again what a disaster Wynne was

    Pickering Airport (Transport Canada/GTAA, Proposed)

If you force Billy Bishop closed you may as well tell Porter to go bankrupt now.

High Speed Rail: London - Kitchener-Waterloo - Pearson Airport - Toronto

I agree with your general point. But the area at terminal 1 where AC runs flights to Windsor or London can only handle small planes anyways (gates D1 to D10). They aren't going to replace flights with higher capacity planes.

    2019 Canadian Federal Election

Once the UCP was formed the NDP never had a chance.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

I don't mind the location. It has many pluses. I just don't think it solves the Ontario Place transit accessibility issues 100%.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

Exhibition GO station doesn't serve Ontario Place all that well though. Its a bit of a hike.

I've seen them claim they can have shovels in the ground by end of 2020. We'll know a lot sooner then 2028 how full of shit they are. And we already know they are pretty full of it.
