    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

@Woodbridge_Heights: It is a little confusing to follow on the architectural plans (as they have combined levels onto one plan) however it is worth noting that the entire new retail space will be level grade and accessible from Bay to York. (Once construction is complete you will be able to...

@mdrejhon: My apologies, I'm not following. I think the "food court" bit of things is going to be underneath the York Concourse.

I think the plan is to group take away "food services" under York concourse. Bigger spaces will be available for larger stores/restaurants such as Casey's etc more towards the Bay side. The flow of the station is being completely reconstructed and I think the idea is to keep the cross traffic to...

Dare I say it actually looks beautiful in this shot. It is very soothing and relaxing in this area compared to the rest of the promenade. The difference is that the LED strip lighting has yet to activated in this area. The design has overlight the promenade areas.

I agree. That is a beautiful rendering. In reality it looks identical in finish to the York Promenade. Unfortunately it appears they opted for the financially conservative option. Pics below.

Also, a new set of stairs is now open leading from the West side of great hall down to concourse level on the York side. I like the finish detail that is coming together in the revitalized bits. Super classy and respectful to the heritage of the building!

Confirmed. New indoor bike parking. North-east of York teamway, concourse level.

My understanding is once Union is renovated there will be many elevators. For example, the York concourse opening added a new elevator from concourse to street level (inside the Harvey's space). I know this is not much more convenient in your specific argument but rather just an example of...
