This building has 5 elevators, not 3. 2 of the elevators only go as high as the top floor of the podium through, but that would be a major vertical transport relief for everyone in the building nevertheless. 42

Just a note to say that we have updated the database file and front page story to credit Stantec along with the already credited KPMB for the design… …which makes perfect sense, as Stantec are the type of firm to make health care centres work optimally, while KPMB is there to make it a pleasure...

SickKids has advanced their plans here with an OPA aimed at creating a 29-storey concept of 241,000 sq m, or 2,594,000 sq ft. You can read all about it on the front page, or check out the new database file now attached above for a few facts! 42

The former 59-storey tower of 195.35m is now 63 storeys and 206.15m. The former 48-storey tower of 163.00m is now 58 storeys and193.5m. This FSI has jumped from 17.59 to 18.62. No idea how many units are planned now. It was 1297 units being served by 10 elevators, or 1 cab for every 129.7...

Does the two-year restriction hold if the site has changed though? It would seem that we are dealing with a significantly enlarged assembly now. 42

While the project is on Spotlight's website, it's not on Urban Capital's, at least not yet, even though their name also appears on the docs. Maybe they are waiting for marketing renderings to declare an interest? I assume we'll end up adding them at some point, just waiting to see how it's all...

That massing diagram isn't detailed enough to declare we know the final architectural gestures on the exterior, but it would be new site owners Mattamy Homes pushing for the simplified massing… and no matter what the exterior looks like (and it could still be a nice box) it's now just be a box...

What a disappointment that the tower's massing has been dumbed down into just any other boxy tower. My interest in seeing this go up has pretty much evaporated. 42

We missed an entire stage of this one, which was resubmitted to the City back at the end of June last year. At that point, spotlight resubmitted this as a 28-storey, 370-unit, point-tower-on-a-podium condo with 789 sq m tower floor-plates, instead of as the 12-storey, 301-unit terraced mid-rise...

I'm pretty sure that phase one ended up as 35 storeys with 2 floors of mechanical penthouse above, while phase two has topped off with 40 storeys and 2 levels of mechanical penthouse above it!
