Thanks to your excellent posts (for the most part) you were upgraded to a martini long ago.

I always take my daily doses of vinegar, honey, and gin with a tad bit of vermouth. What I post on this form is usually timed to what I read, what I feel a response is required, and which of the above I just took., and I never allow myself to give consideration to how the local opinion parade is...

Shorty calls it a slab. I call it a wall. Every gorgeous skyline view shot that Razz posts is marred by this thing. 'Wave-alicious'? I suppose for those on the roof seats of the passing tour buses gawking chin straight up as they pass..perhaps. Other than that, it just ain't cutting it, and...

Great pictures. Thanks! Boy! This hole is shrinking fast. When this one pops up its going to be fun reading the comments. This one has been a real 'sleeper'. I've got a real warm fuzzy feeling about this one.

One from the west earlier today. The day wouldn't feel right without at least one fresh pic of the L. Is this the most photogenic project on this forum or what.

From earlier today. In that third pic I tried to capture the density happening now in that neck of the woods. Kind of exciting in a Hazel McCallion kickin up her heels kind of way.

These units will have a great view of the CN Tower, along with a romantic view of a character filled Scott Lane. Ok. So it's not Paris, with the Eiffel Tower. I'm just trying to imagine how a real estate agent would describe it.

Sewer upgrade. Everything was ripped out when the sewer trenches were dug. But not to worry. We got an asphalt patch up when it was filled in.'temporary' Considering the fact that you rarely see more than a half a dozen guys working when you see anybody at all( actually three guys. Those...

You forgot to mention the er um interesting brutalist St. Lawrence Centre. If that was intentional, that's ok. Really. Other than that, I totally agree with your observation. Quite a fascinating eclectic mix from that viewpoint.

I'm sure it's going to be lovely building when it's done. Sadly, it's also going to be a bit of a heartbreaker as it slowly hides hides the L Tower.

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I remember looking at artists drawings of a very attractive walkout courtyard area in the back. Looking at Skyjack's great pictures there hardly appears room for that. In fact, it has the appearance of a narrow bricked in alleyway. A major cheapening possibly?.. Or...

I could not DISAGREE more with the both of you. It does what it was meant to do and does it admirably. The podium brick blends nicely with the surrounding buildings.. The podium height itself also stays cohesive with its surroundings. The shops meet the street successfully, contributing well to...

I am fairly confident that we will see as much curved glass as we have seen curved concrete so far. In other words, zilch. Not to worry. The curve of this building will still be every bit as beautiful and graceful as its tiny sales office model counterpart suggests. If you are up there on the...

Something I've never been totally clear on when floors are added. Do present purchasers get affected in any way? I assume present penthouse purchasers end up a little higher. They did after-all pay a premium. What about the sub penthouse future owners. Often a premium was paid there also...

You have the suite layouts?! I've backtracked through the history of posts hoping I could look at them again. No luck. I know the project was sold out from the get go, but I would love to peruse through them out of interest. Any chance of you posting them? Would be greatly appreciated.

Wow! So that's how it is going to be done. Remarkable engineering. Now the question on accumulating ice and snow falling..?

I wonder if anyone has ever successfully sued a a a builder for misrepresentation. Lets face it. Buyers make their decisions on buying based on what is represented to them. How DO builders consistently get away with this shit? I live at London on the Esplanade. The lobby that was illustrated...

I hear ya! I never was a fan of single malt scotches, or a well aged medium rare porterhouse, or a vintage chateau bottled Bordeaux. These kinds of things in life were ridiculously overrated. But when I eventually found myself in a position where I could comfortably afford these things on...

Hanlansboy gets the highest mark. You never buy a condo ANYWHERE downtown expecting a forever view. Sometimes even when a purchase looks like its comes with a guaranteed spectacular vista, a rude surprise is waiting in just a few short years. Just ask anyone who bought a unit at the Ltoer...
