    Toronto 16 York | 154.83m | 32s | Cadillac Fairview | a—A

It mentions TD and BMO, but doesn't give any details about the later. TD could easily fit into 16 York, and given what's on offer this cycle, I think it's the most likely scenario. Union Centre and Bay-Adelaide North would also make sense. If BMO really wants >1 million sf, Union Centre and 160...

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

Will 160 Front have its PATH connected directly to Union Centre, or is it going to be long and convoluted? It's a great location as long as the PATH connection is an easy walk. Also, since 16 York is going ahead we should consider the chance that a big FI decides to anchor it. It isn't big...

    Chinatown

This really is an underrated neighborhood. Part of me thinks that this could be the next cool place in a few years. It's a bit isolated, but still worth a visit. (I think this video would be good in the Riverdale thread.)

KPMB was smart to propose something that will probably be cheaper to build.

    Toronto East Harbour | 214.2m | 65s | Cadillac Fairview | Adamson

Notice that the three lots north of the site are envisioned as having 5 buildings. This is probably just in the vision stage rather than a plan, but it's nice to see this as a possibility, and gives a sense of how this district will expand beyond its borders.

I suspect it will, although probably not in time for this cycle.

Union Centre and 160 Front are both fairly large, and both look like nice head office style towers. I'm not sure if 160 Front will have a convenient PATH connection, but that will be a key factor. I'll bet Oxford is wishing they worked to get 30 Bay planned and approved.

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

It appears that the Bloor lanes do have parking designed in them. I didn't know that. It doesn't excuse your ramblings, but I appreciate the information. I think you are arguing with the people in the article rather than the person who posted it. I would appreciate if you didn't take my words...

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

A strange response that has nothing to do with our exchange. And your words on democracy (moving as they were) are not relevant here.

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

Apparently reading comprehension really is an issue for you. Taking my words out of context makes you look rather foolish since anyone can look above and see what I actually wrote. The first line you quote is me telling you what the article is about. The next line you quote is out of context...

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

Then you have very poor reading comprehension, because I didn't make any points. I simply asked a question, and said that if it is hurting business I hope it is modified or removed. And it is not an issue of minority/majority. If that many businesses really are hurt by it, then it is clearly a...

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

http://torontoobserver.ca/2017/04/21/businesses-are-complaining-about-bike-lanes-on-bloor-street-west/ Some businesses are saying that the bike lanes on Bloor are hurting business. Is this still a pilot project? If it really is hurting business, I hope the City will have the courage to remove...

    New Seaton - Pickering

It actually doesn't make sense. There is strong evidence that wider lanes lead to speeding and are more dangerous than narrow lanes. Wider turn radii also endanger pedestrians. We have the evidence that these things are bad, but many cities are living in the dark ages. We also know from European...

    Toronto 8 Elm | 218.2m | 69s | Reserve Properties | Arcadis

I suspect that such an approach would result in far fewer buildings being listed. BTW, is it likely that some version of this tower gets built? It seems like there are a lot of strikes against it. Although it could well be a zoning exercise to increase land value.

    Church-Wellesley Village

I suspect that these places will be less common now that the government said there will be no amnesty for those convicted before the new laws take effect. They now know that they wont get away with it. And once the new laws take effect, it will be sold in a normal manner instead of this...

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

Perhaps I misread your intention. I thought you were saying that taxation is naturally tied to citizenship. I apologize for the confusion.
