*facepalm* I'm sure it's union rules that the red helpers can't perform duties of TTC staff. Likewise at Eglinton "automated" entrance there has been a crash collector since the Presto gates have been installed. Sometimes there is no one there and just a big open gate.

Agreed. It would be like me eating poutine everyday, having heart problems, and saying I was cursed.

Some of these restaurants may do take out orders using those new apps and it is really hard for a car to just pull in, grab an order, and go. Although things would still be good for bike or pedestrian carriers.

I would be OK with self cleaning pay toilets, or pay toilets with privately staffed cleaners. These bathrooms would get absolutely disgusting without a full time cleaner at each station. Pay for access (via Presto!) would at least make them available for emergencies and not divert funds from...

After the UT meet up at the pub I waited at Tangiers to board an Eastbound bus. Then I noticed a bus going south on Tangeirs making a left to go East on Finch. Then I noticed the sign saying the bus stop was no longer in use. Had to schlep over a few blocks east.
