The other day a 510 pulled up and lots of people waiting for the 509 just waited on the platform, blocking people from getting on. The streetcar departed with tons of space. Could be a contributing factor as to why the lines get so long.

I've gotten off a Lufthansa 747 in Frankfurt using stairs! I honestly don't know what they did with the wheelchair passengers. Question: Which is worst? Infield terminal? Or buses directly to apron position and stairs?

Infield Terminal for Terminal 1, Terminal 3, or both? Where do the buses leave from?

Oh no. I have never used stairs in Canada. Thought it was one benefit of living in a country that gets freezing cold!
