I think the members of this board are biased towards wanting beautiful office towers. IMHO the world has changed as a result of the pandemic and offices will move to more working from home and flex space when people do come into the office. This means they will need about half the space...

Is it actually common for people to transfer from GO Train to GO Bus at Union?

I wasn't sure if it would work, but now that it has opened the terminal is more spacious than I thought and I think it can handle the intercity buses. I was imagining London's Victoria Coach Terminal but at Union the buses park at an angle meaning the spacing between the gates is quite roomy...

There are staffed ticket wickets on the upper level of the terminal, plus machines.

More positively, people can bike there for their Covid tests and not have to take a bus/Uber. Parking also expensive.
