    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

It's been interesting so far to say the least. Lot's cars not realizing it at all - but I also haven't walked the full extent of the closure since it's happened. I work at the terminus end of Market and I'd argue traffic appears to be better around here than previously, which is great. The...

Someone gonna come in here and say Mr Mizrahi is wrong and they've actually been in touch with conscious this whole time through "undisclosed sources"? ? Maybe we should lock this one up till things are back on track...

    Toronto 100 Queens Quay at Sugar Wharf | 117.34m | 25s | Menkes | B+H

Agreed. Should make for some interesting shadows with the right lighting too.

Not tall enough to block the entirety of the Square from that height. Also think you'd still see most of the Square to the right of the building anyways.

Toronto Scotiabank North Tower at Bay Adelaide Centre | 140.2m | 32s | Brookfield | KPMB

Relatively recent official naming and the thread didn't get a lot of updates until we started seeing the core.

I suppose in most cases the largest tenant usually has their branding at the top of the building (which comes last) but in this case the overall project has had an official name for quite a while and it's a good chance to get said namesake out there in a higher quality than most.

Did the 'W' stand for Warbler or Wren this whole time?

Generally not as concerned with the cranes scale (just meant to be a reference for height) but I've increased the width to get it closer to reality!

Good from afar, but far from good.

Some fun Mies vibes on that facade. I dig it!

Love that last crop @skycandy. Two very fun facades gracing the skyline.

"Construction progressing faster than the current permits." is either poor management on the permit side or fantastic construction but it is most definitely fantastic PR work haha

Saucier + Perotte are a real breath of fresh air. They've created a super impressive block in Corktown.

If I had to put a guess on what the glass will look like for this I'd probably look to the Leadenhall Building. RSH+P love really clear facades (they love to show off the internal/external skeletons) and most renders seem to suggest that will be the case here. Not to mention both will be owned...

    Toronto PJ Condos | 156.96m | 48s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

I think where this one is falling short (and a real nit-pick because it's a really fantastic addition overall) is that the glass is too blue! With dark spandrel/mullions, the blue glass highlights it by being very clearly framed. If they had used a darker, more grey glass (like E Condos) I think...

    Toronto The HUB | 258.46m | 59s | Oxford Properties | Rogers Stirk Harbour

CIBC Square is about as blue as can be (see below). Those document illustrations pretty much never convey how the glass will actually look. Additionally most of he renders show pretty "clear" glass so I'm wondering if they've yet to even land on a finalized glass treatment (or perhaps they just...
