    Mississauga M1 & M2 at M City | 197.81m | 60s | Rogers Real Estate | Core Architects

True, but then they could use a flagger and short section of mountable curb. And even then it could be only on the less-visible west side of it. And there are bollards there that already block vehicles.

They should get rid of those curb cuts (and raise the former road to sidewalk level), take down those no-straight-ahead signs, and remove the now-pointless N-S walk signals so it looks like a square at a T-intersection, not like the road's looks closed-off, as it looks ugly for something permanent

    Markham Markham Town Square Redevelopment (Phase 1) | ?m | 48s | SmartCentres | Diamond Schmitt

^^ Well they are redeveloping one of their own properties.

What does this have to do with Doug Ford?

Toronto has too many twin towers. I'd prefer one only.

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

There's no real need to announce a tiny garbage can fire that has practically zero chance of spreading.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

I was referring to the Avenue Rd. bus, which I thought was maybe still split as the Nortown West. I didn't realize when I posted it was now combined. I didn't actually watch it. I just saw the link and got excited.

TTC: Bloor Danforth Line 2 West Extension(s)

The major problem with extending the subway to Square One is that MCC was built in a terrible spot for a subway extension. Burnhamthorpe was the worst east-west street to built it along.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

That's started already!? Would it be done by 2030?

That would make sense, but Avenue station won't have a bus terminal, which would be odd unless it continued to Eglinton.

Some GTA Aerials by Tim MacDonald (Covid19 induced Boredom)

Some stubborn country homeowner held out and bisected a street for a long time! And it looks like a doctor or vet beat the developer to the old house next door.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

The reason for that is because Highway 10 was a city-maintained "connecting link" when it was downloaded, so it was simply kept as-is. Same for Lakeshore (2) and Dundas (5). Bovaird Drive in Brampton was provincial right up until it was downloaded, so it was given to the Region, although the...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Not sure where you're going with the Bayview bus being numbered 11 as having any significance to anything (maybe you think 11 should've been assigned to the Yonge subway as per Highway 11) , but the lack of a Highway 1 in Ontario should have been reviewed in the 1950's when the TCH was built and...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

But cowtowing to the Highway 10 anachronism thing isn't desirable for an aspiring city, as well as being unnecessary. And if distancing oneself from the Toronto subway is deemed important, using the Miway Hurontario Express bus number 103 would work.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Hamilton isn't really part of the GTA so it would not make sense for it to be assigned a Toronto subway line number, although I can easily see still see it for Mississauga. The Hurontario LRT will open first (Hamilton's LRT is still only being planned), so it would be logical to be numbered 8...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

It can't be 7 as that's reserved for the now-separate Eglinton East LRT. But I know which number (if they skip a few) I don't want it to get...

How visible are the boundaries between the former Metro municipalities today?

This picture is proof Metro Toronto was for all intents and purposes a single city.

"Honeycrisp Crescent": Now that's a name that just screams "We're downtown!"

    Mississauga The Southlands | ?m | 72s | Camrost-Felcorp | a—A

I find it amazing the way the side streets around the Sussex Centre were built with a street fronting plan considering they were built way back in the mid-80s. It's very isolated though.

If the CC loop is reinstated, you may get your wish, though it would be part of the LRT itself, not a separate system.
