Abode Lofts Cancelled I bought one too... but got the letter today that the project has been canned. the hunt begins again....

apparently an on-site sales center is being considered as well as new floorplans to be released for one of the two buildings in the project.

I'd think your sales contract would mention the size of the locker you purchased. if your locker is right in front of your parking spot, then it would be your responsibility to leave enough room between the car and the locker to allow access.

victoria lofts few years back, there was a church lofts conversion project also in the high Park area called Cathedral Lofts. The website had floor plans and prices etc for about a year or two and then disappeared. Is this the same church property?

nope. according to this other thread "Work Lofts in The Film District", it's brand new construction.

yes. it's probably slow in such 'gold rush' market.. but then they hardly did any promotion unlike other monster lofts projects... I was at Printing Factory's grand opening weekend... they had TV camera crew and all... I couldn't get out of there fast enough honestly.

most definitely. I may be wrong but I think it would be rare to find actual occupancy date same as the initial tentative one. BTW, the sales center of the Abode, as it turns out, is the project architech/developer's own office... first week of sales of such a small project seems promising so...

It is not unusual for smaller projects not having the usual sales center on site. Those with flashy and much publicized grand opening sales.. like Printing Factory etc..., you will see the prices proportionally reflective of the promotional scale. What is important is the track record of the...
