    Toronto 55 Yonge | 236.21m | 66s | H&R REIT | PARTISANS

Dear diary: I met my skyscraper love of my life. It's name is 55 Yonge. Send every other middling architect in Toronto that image and tell them to dreammmmm

Toronto Ontario Court of Justice Toronto | 95.7m | 17s | Infrastructure ON | Renzo Piano

Comparing renderings, it seems to me that the solid walls (ie. not perforated by windows) were a design-requirement. I've noticed a similar trend in the new courthouses in the US. 95 Wellington West recladding (Cadillac Fairview, 20s, WZMH Architects)

It's the most exclusive club in Toronto, as I understand it. It has an entrance inside the adjacent office tower and you'll see stately old men wearing club jackets enter/exit occasionally. Here's a new pic from above, notice the club's nice rooftop patio, though I've never once seen it used!

    Toronto 191 College | 95.18m | 31s | Unix Housing Group | Icon

I see the rendering was removed, but going through Icon Architects' portfolio of past projects, I've lost any hope I had for this project. What a sad few years for College Street.

95 Wellington West recladding (Cadillac Fairview, 20s, WZMH Architects)

Here's a different view. There used to be tiny gardens on the top floors that've been effectively filled in. I've been watching these reno's with only middling interest as I can also the CIBC tower going up from my office, but happy to post more shots if there's any demand.

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

I see this beauty rising every day. Never seen something so large go up so fast.

    Toronto L-Tower | 204.82m | 58s | Cityzen | Daniel Libeskind

View from my new office: On a related note, I was reflecting the other day on the fact that 50% of the reason I'm in the industry I work in (finance) is because I pored over the directories of the bay street beauts as a teenager and saw finance companies made up most of the tenants.
