How long has this unit been building for? Bought another Vandyk unit and they work like snails over there

My friends alllll know about Uptown Vandyk delay, they would question my friendship 😆

Do you think they want people to put it up for assignment/sell it so they can resell it for a much higher price? So delaying the project is in their favour unfortunately -_- like no sense of urgency to get it finished

When are we suppose to get an update again?? So odd they did some electrical appointments but not all, and no décor appointment follow up

Dejvu, I feel like you’ve posted this exact message before. A lot of us here actually do own units and we’ve been waiting since (2017-2018-2019) approx.

I think I remember someone asking them and saying it was 3 levels with an elevator

Very annoying that they are still going to be using Covid as a means to not pay us for the delay. We probably won’t hear back until 3 months before May 2023. Chose the wrong builder in this one!

Does anyone know when we still start getting paid? If it’s not done by a certain date. I know these “unavoidable delays” keep pushing that date further and further

Hi Kaoskreator, What I meant to say was that my sources are reliable, I’m just not able to share it in a public forum. “City of Brampton is giving Vandyk a hard time with approving the building permit”

I don’t have actual source per say but it is true. There is no permit yet..I think they can start digging but can’t actually start building the homes. Now with the new delay, I did send an email with my frustrations. They don’t seem to prioritize this project at all..
