Wow, I didn't realize this was moving. Why the move and what will happen to the building?
Being demolished to re-level the grounds above the flood plane.Wow, I didn't realize this was moving. Why the move and what will happen to the building?
King-Bathurst and Queen-Spadina are actually my favourite names of the bunch. They tell you exactly where the station is, and they'll never need to change.I knew K/B and Q/S station names are temporary, but didn't know of the other 2, or that Metrolinx (of all people!) were actually inviting input from the public. That's good! I would like to see avoidance of double-name stations, even though we have had many of them in the 2 recently opened lines. I don't know why Corktown is being reconsidered, unless they think it sounds too whimsical or colloquial. I like it, but I don't live in the area, and it should be up to local residents.

I would have said the same about Dundas.King-Bathurst and Queen-Spadina are actually my favourite names of the bunch. They tell you exactly where the station is, and they'll never need to change.
But then we'd have to rename Parliament to Second Parliament.I can get behind "First Parliament", but yeah to DSCToronto's point.
Until there's some scandal involving the King, Queen, or Earl Bathurst.King-Bathurst and Queen-Spadina are actually my favourite names of the bunch. They tell you exactly where the station is, and they'll never need to change.
You should be a contestant on Jeopardy.Hopefully the Earl isn't guilty of Cirencest.![]()
Good shot, Eastern is closed until, I think, tomorrow morning for this big pour.
Wow, I remember when that dealership was built. It was a quite a thing at the time. They were forced to move. Land expropriation by the Ontario Government, apparently. Also found that out this morning. It's going to be demolished, as far as I'm aware (and was told).
