Digging began a couple of weeks ago.
Conspicuously absent in the renderings of the street level on Queen is the big, ugly garage door that will be required to access the garbage room. There’s no laneway access here.
Edit: actually, it looks like the plan is to place a bunch of bins out on the street for curbside pick up:

With less than 60 units they are allowed to do curbside pickup.

Exterior looks decent but the unit layouts are horrendous. Most are under 350 sq ft and the units with bedrooms are so badly laid out. Nobody will buy this junk. It must be a rental but the days of high rents for micro units are over. I hope they reconsider the layouts with more liveable units that people will spend more money on

Is this truly under construction? I'm only glad that another empty lot is being built upon. Irregardless of the micro unit issue the architecture from a street point of view looks acceptable.

Right, but the market is rejecting these. Ah well. Not my investment and agree it looks good so still hope it gets built!
