Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

While I've seen many a update for the downtown area, I've seen only a couple for the northern terminus. Here's a few photos I took of such, from December 30th.
I gotta say, I'm so grateful Metrolinx gave the community a full fledged ice rink while construction is ongoing, which is totally accessible!

Broadway Subway Project - Vancouver:

This one in Slovenia is a bit sexier:

Is that the subway tunnel? Seems like those underground cities truly do exist.... 😆
I believe it's the lower level PATH connection between the Eaton Centre and the former Bay store. In the map below the bridge is grey and the path is blue.

On the Eaton Centre side it's near the south food court, and it had a Starbucks at the Bay entrance. It's got stairs down to Queen station (as shown on the map) which lead to the entrance to the southbound platforms. Not sure if what's pictured is part of the original subway structures as the area was likely altered greatly when the Eaton Centre was built and connected to the subway.

It's a shame about those trees but the view of the West (Upper) Don Crossing from the sidewalk at Don Mills is excellent now.

@Kelson - you should add this photo to the Minton Portal/Upper Don Crossing thread too.

I presume after construction is completed, trees will be replanted. With all the contruction in Toronto, tree replacement is something we just have to live with.
Also, thanks for the link to the Minton Portal thread. I don't want to have dozens of threads on my watch list, it's too much to go through, but I will add that one.
