Toronto Concord Sky | 299m | 85s | Concord Adex | Kohn Pedersen Fox

Aura looks great imo, the slant at the top is a very good feature and it’s more unique than most buildings in Toronto, but it’s not that nice during the day time
It goes to show that the shape of the building is not everything. Aura is ruined by poor execution and cost-cutting measures - the visible ‘seams’ on the crown being the most egregious example. The lighting is its redeeming feature, but who knows whether they’ll replace it as more lights burn out.

Wouldn't it be a condition of site plan approval that the lighting feature must be maintained? I am surprised the city has let it go this long!

Also, I'm staying at the Sheraton and have this view from my room, it's crazy thinking about how Concord Sky (and 8 Elm) will change this view.

Yeah I have stayed at that Sheraton only on a higher floor there's quite a few buildings that are going to be changing how this view is in the next few months that is for sure
