Those are issues that push me to never want to own a condo. Especially the potentially massive fees and one-time charges from the condo corp, floods from upper floors and broken elevators. That ghostly whistling and creaking noises would annoy anyone who just spent millions. If I was to live in a condo I would rent, and thus not care about the fees changing - if the landlord tried to increase at the end of the lease I could consider walking away and renting elsewhere.Issues that sound common in certain Toronto condo projects.
