    St Lawrence Market

Yeah it’s pretty bad. I never walk it. It’s not so bad on a Bike Share, but it needs to be better for sure.

I mean, the Daniels Lighthouse Towers and Sugar Wharf Towers already exist and they're worse than this imo.

Me too. Honestly I like it’s form factor and massing so far. It’s a lot more interesting than most rectangular buildings around and compliments monde quite nicely. Of course it could look terrible when clad.

As bad as the mechanical box and sign is, at least it follows the curve of the building. Crazily enough it’s much better than One Yonge’s mechanical box.

The mechanical box looks hideous. This has to be a sick joke.

    St Lawrence Market

I was curious if they'd be able to put an entrance on Front St where the cannabis store was (is?) in addition to The Esplanade entrance.

Toronto Ontario Line 3 | Metrolinx

I like the name First Parliament for Corktown station, as it is the site of Upper Canada's first parliament building; the one the Americans burnt. Parliament Street is the Western boundary of Corktown, so it doesn't make sense to name it Corktown station since its a block West of Corktown...

Toronto St Lawrence Market North | 25.3m | 5s | City of Toronto | Rogers Stirk Harbour

Bike Share is my primary mode of transportation, and I live in St Lawrence, but I typically avoid both Front and Jarvis. They're just not good streets to bike on. Very hostile car traffic, and often heavily congested. I use The Esplanade or King for East/West, and Sherbourne or Scott for...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I know they’re probably restricted by code or something, but they’ve reconstructed the northbound bike lane at Front and Sherbourne in a way that will encourage drivers to park in the lane while picking up their Tim Hortons (Tim Hortons will be returning to that corner). They left enough...

    Toronto Bike Share

I’ve reported the 3 docks that haven’t worked in the Esplanade and Sherbourne rack for over a year repeatedly. Still no sign of them fixing them. They’ve been broken so long that most locals know not even to attempt docking in those 3 spots. One of them in particular often registers your bike as...
