Abandoned or neglected buildings in Toronto

Right place right time, I finally got to see a large white truck pull into the back part of the building. I have not seen that in a while.

Abandoned or neglected buildings in Toronto

I suspect the factory on Bathurst @ 1191 Bathurst is now abandoned. I might be wrong. https://www.google.com/maps/@43.6751651,-79.4151332,3a,75y,74.34h,92.01t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sXbr7qVORNGHFD6RNvcARUA!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu

    Woodbine Centre

By some total miracle, the Bay is still there, perhaps anchoring the place.

Yeah, I always found it strange, places that close BEFORE a major event. Crazy!

The Tenor (10 Dundas St E, Ent Prop Trust, 10s, Baldwin & Franklin)

Interesting thought: Snakes & Lattes seems to be the best known name for board game Cafes in Toronto. They didn't jump all over the idea of opening when Shark bar left. That doesn't mean someone else can't do it, it just surprises me that the leading or top "name brand" business for such an...

The Tenor (10 Dundas St E, Ent Prop Trust, 10s, Baldwin & Franklin)

With Milestones gone, chances are higher that Hard Rock Cafe is going to be across from Jack Astors where Milestones used to be. I do like the idea of using the former Winners space to restore Club 279 (or a Club Tenor, if desired) but that's just a thought...with no rumour intended.

    Restaurant Comings & Goings

Well if that is true, then at least it's not about to become a Rexall like they did to a bar (with history) on Bloor...only to have a very short life. Now it's sadly a Value Village store.

    Yorkdale Shopping Centre

I honestly don't know. They were supposed to move into Yorkdale back in 2015, but maybe Nordstrom scared them off? I have this article, but it's old. It indicates that Simons plans to move into Yorkdale and Scarborough Town Centre...

    Yorkdale Shopping Centre

They're working on it. There's a redevelopment plan: (land outside the mall) "housing everything from residential units to hotel rooms, office space, and retail stores." The plan: https://www.rjburnside.com/projects/yorkdale-shopping-centre-mixed-use-development/

I think I'm saying that I hope it is, but I honestly don't know.

I wonder if a coffee shop is going to go into that ground level left hand spot with the for lease sign in the window...???

Does that make it right next door to that new Brazilian AYCE steak house? https://fogodechao.com/location/toronto/

    Yorkdale Shopping Centre

Darn. I was really hoping for Simons to move into the former Nordstrom space. As I've said before, Simons is a fashion store and Yorkdale is a fashion mall. A great fit Simons would have been...

    Restaurant Comings & Goings

...but in all fairness, even though A&W is competition to Burger King, there is this illusion (?) that RBI & A&W are actually friends, doing friendly competition simply by having a Popeyes and A&W side by side instead of intentionally placing a Burger King next door to an A&W (or close enough...
