With Milestones gone, chances are higher that Hard Rock Cafe is going to be across from Jack Astors where Milestones used to be. I do like the idea of using the former Winners space to restore Club 279 (or a Club Tenor, if desired) but that's just a thought...with no rumour intended.

It's interesting because I was just starting to notice a month or so ago that Popeye's is constantly opening up right close to an A&W all over the place. (In Toronto) I wonder if a new franchisee will take it over and restart it. (or corporate, maybe) Look at places like St. Clair & Bathurst...

Naww, the mall's owner would be speaking of this mall very differently, encouraging us all to drop by because of such great things there...and so proud of a big name like the Bay...and blah blah blah...not simply asking if there is anything new.

There may also be something that the laws are protecting close by. A great example is in another neighborhood where condos couldn't just suddenly appear if it is proven that they will block the sun for Casa Loma.
