    Montréal Transit Developments

I'm happy to look to the future and not re-litigate the past; but I do think its important to represent what was, is and could have been with a measure of accuracy and context, such that what we do next achieves the best way forward possible.

No one does a better bus service change chart than @DirectionNorth!

    VIVA + York Region Transit

@6ixGod was on point. 7.5 minute service on VIVA was fine, provided that the rider lived walking distance from the stop, and worked walking distance from the stop. The failing was that most riders did not live on 7, and you needed good feeder services to make the service desirable. YRT...

    Multiplexes

This isn't terrible, but it doesn't 'fit' as well as it might. Remove the balcony from the top level, make the doors a decent sized window instead, and run the roof (which has a pitch) the opposite direction so that it matches its neighbour. Otherwise, decent. No need to cut total...

Toronto's AIC + Other Municipal Development Application Portals (UX/UI/APIs & Opendata)

The AIC went awry over the weekend, it would perform searches, but when you went to click on a pin on the map, or on a link, there was nothing there. It appears they've now taken everything down (the public facing portal is still there and you can give it inputs) but searches don't generate...

Alto - High Speed Rail (Toronto-Quebec City)

Things are moving a bit faster here than is typical. You're on point.....but keep in mind the enabling legislation here gives Alto sweeping powers in regard to expropriation that are more....'liberal' than the norm.

Alto - High Speed Rail (Toronto-Quebec City)

By and large, good piece, well thought out, does a good job of separating his view from those of the broader public. However, he has one thing very wrong......he argues there is no tunnel required to the Union Station connection, seemingly, because he's under the impression GO will terminate a...

For now, it will be a parking lot:

    Restaurant Comings & Goings

That's certainly true for some of the stuff, though they definitely have a much deeper selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars and more varieties of dried pasta too. But that isn't really what's useful about Eataly. Its freshly baked breads, its the Italian Wine section, its some of...

Alto - High Speed Rail (Toronto-Quebec City)

You know what I won't ignore....that the idea comes from Michael, who has rarely had an original thought of any quality.

Alto - High Speed Rail (Toronto-Quebec City)

Notices are imminent, most haven't yet gone out. But notices are not 'intent to expropriate', they are ' your property is of interest'. * * not exact wording, but they are not an expropriation claim, at this stage, though they certainly may be an omen of such to come
