Not only does the new exit go to College Park (entering it just south of the main elevator bank) it only goes to College Park, relying on the existing stairs, escalators and elevators in that building to reach the street as it doesn't have its own direct street access.
Looks like there were nearby IGAs at 1012 Pape (in the former SDM location currently being demolished for Ontario Line) and 405 Donlands (now Select Bakery).

It's the same process. You can report one of your cards as "lost" and transfer the balance to another active card on your account or an anonymous card. The "lost" card is then permanently cancelled. Here are the options when you start the process on the PRESTO website:

Completely agree but I get the impression that Metrolinx avoided the east side properties at Cosburn because of the church at the southeast corner which provides several community services including a food bank, youth programs, etc...which may have been politically challenging to expropriate vs...
They will be installing art on that concrete wall. Hopefully they cover all of the concrete with a nicer finish and not just install these art panels:
