There isn't that much distance from Ice to that little wedge of land, and even penthouse owners at Ice will be looking straight into somebody else's bedroom at 10 York. I hate how little there is to protect home buyers from greedy developers. What's going to happen to Gardiner? It surely is...

The problem with this tower is that the designers were only provided basic Lego blocks to build the scale model. Thus the squaredness, texture and monotony.

That generalization wouldn't apply to this project. If these units were spacious enough to comfortably accomodate a middle-income couple as a primary residence, I would agree, but these are highly awkward unliveable spaces sold at premium prices. They will be flipped and rented out as long as...

I could see why

40+ storeys, fingers crossed. Wow, Yonge and Eg is really blowing up quickly. Those old boxy apt buildings have really got to go, though, and some new office towers are much needed to diversify the skyline in the area.

The more I try to picture it, the more I am starting to like the green. Blue wouldn't match with the bare beige concrete and silver or clear would lack color and look too grey and depressing. This project is more traditional than most that are going up today and I think this was the safest...

I believe it was marketed as Success Tower 2 until the Bay St address became official, at which point all of the marketing material began to say 33 Bay Residences. Pinnacle Centre Tower D or 4 is just the project phase reference. (Correct me if im wrong)

Today

Following the photos above, I see a torn up RCMI on Nov 7 and a flattened RCMI Nov 13. I'm pretty sure we will not be seeing any part of the original.
