This amounts to a rude imposition on the neighborhood, full stop. I have no objection to the height per se, it's the design that rankles. It's horrific.

We "need" it? It wouldn't be a super tall if it were below 300m.. just sayin'.

Yup! I'm all too familiar with that kind of comment. Or the general tenor of it, at least. Though most people have at least a shred of civility and hold their tongue, their body language tends to signal their skepticism and cynicism.

Still very close, compared to several other under-serviced areas in the GTA... hence the plans for all that dense mid-rise. The Ontario Line is a huge draw and let's face it - car traffic is never going to do anything but get more congested.

I beg to differ - It's very close to Riverside and Leslieville.

But that very height is what's dominating! It's also that much closer to the pocket of small cottages that's classic Cabbagetown. Just sayin'.

If built, that's really going to dominate the immediate area.... I'm guessing some Cabbagetown residents must be freaking.
