No no...you dont need to ask for them. it's regularly scheduled maintenance that happens twice a year. The reason I know this is that I asked for a new one and they said we get a new one soon anyways...dont quote me on this but I think it might have been sometime in January.
it's part of the condo fees...my last building did it, so i asked in this one and its part of the maintenance of the heating and cooling system here too, they are replaced every six months.
I keep seeing messages about the air filters...just to let you guys know, they are replaced for free every six months. I know that may not be often enough for some people, but just thought i would let you know
Hi Everyone:
I checked with Brian from TD and he said that our mortgages will remain conventional unless we ask them to change it to collateral. As long as you were apporved for your mortgage before October 18th, you will remain conventional unless otherwise requested.
In all honesty, and we're not complainers as we have lived in condo building and apartments for a long time, we came home a couple of days to chicken bones and peach pits on the balconies, so revoked their right to enter. they keep coming in without our permission but i've given up on caring...
This obviously depends on who your lawyer is too. Your lawyer is the person that you want to speak with about closing costs. Mine gave me a value that is equivalent to about 1.5% of my purchase price.
You have to remember that a big chunk of the closing cost is the lawyers cost, so the more...
Hey
It was me! They took them all down- but they haven't repaired my wall yet. Although they say they are going to. They did repair the cupboards where they removed the toilet paper holders. Looks good :)
I called Toronto Hydro and asked because I was scared of gettinga HUGE bill 6 months down the road. The woman I spoke with said they are backed up with the meters or something and it may be a while before we are getting billed.
HOWEVER- I do suggest about a month after you will the forms in...
The fan above your stove and the fan in your bathroom(s). It helps take the humidity out. I called Darlene everyday, didnt do anything so I went it and complained again. People kept coming to "fix" it but nothing ever got fixed. I finally put it on my Tarion papers and the day after I submitted...
hi
we're in m1 and when we first moved in we had a ton of trouble with the a/c. for today, turn on your exhaust fans to pull the heat out...it should help a bit with the temperature.
we had to hound the people in the builders office to get it fixed, as they kept telling us it was working...
hey
we've been here over a month and we still have a list of 19 things outstanding...don't get your hopes up...we have a torn screen and scratched glass. not to mention 4 holes in the wall from where they removed the bathroom towel holders :(
We have one too...what they told me is that they will look at it but the flooring people have "a error percentage" in which they are allowed to screw up your floor so basically it won't be fixed. I asked my father in law (in construction) and he said its what they call a "floating floor" because...
Hi
We have two bathrooms as well and at first, we also though we had that issue. we played around with them and realized that they are on a 3-way switch. what this means is, when you turn it on in one bathroom, it goes on in the other.
Hi
None of our windows were standard size, so we either had to go custom or get fancy and cut some blinds ourselves. We've only bought them for one of the balconies so far, and we went with Blinds to Go because we were in a rush. The price was fair for the service we got- the blinds were...
