I am looking forward to seeing some pics of a sporting event. So far with all the concert pics, the place looks crazy dark and dreary. I want to see some pics with full lighting system on.
I'm not sure, but I know there is a corridor along the P2 level of Backstage that will get the PATH to the Green P. Weird thing is that there is no timeline to get that corridor open and connected to Green P. I would have thought this a fairly simple and inexpensive connection from...
I think most people are using real time GPS navigation apps like waze and google maps. Not only do I check the best route when leaving, I get regular updates throughout my drive. I cannot tell you how many times I would have loved to had this direct connection to the 404 when coming south...
I know this will be a big help for cottage country traffic. Having an alternate route to move between 400 and 404 north of the city will be very helpful if there are accidents or other traffic tie ups on either the 400 or 404.
I think the connection to Backstage is part of a plan to connect the PATH to the massive Green P parking lot next door on the Esplanade. That is a very useful place to park for Scotiabank Arena and other attractions in the area. The very long term is to have PATH connections to the St Lawrence...
I wonder if item 15 (401 capacity expansion from 427-404) is our new tunnel LMAO! I don't see many other ways you could improve capacity through that stretch. That tunnel would cost more than the sum of every project on this map.
This is great for Brantford, a city of the correct size to really embrace the OHL. I love the OHL but it seems to get lost in GTHA cities save for Oshawa. What are the plans for the existing facility, I believe they sunk some money into it when the Bulldogs moved there.
I don't know if it is just me, but I feel like the OL project is moving ahead faster than most rapid transit projects we have seen built in this city. Massive construction over the entire length of the line.
Unlike the One, this developer will actually get this thing built and the pre-con buyers will have to close. Hopefully for them, the market may be stronger in 2 or 3 years (sorry for the derail to real estate discussion, back on topic now 😉)
