They can always just reconfigure the units. Every unit can be marketed as being on the top floor, and each unit gets natural light from skylights.

I think it's pretty amazing that there's a chance one could have survived being inside a furnished unit. As long as nothing collapsed and no furniture crushed you and you didn't bump your head... you'd probably be ok lol
