A second view of the third storey glazing.
We only get a new storey of glazing for each World Series win. See you all in thirty years for storey five! They seem to put these quietly up over a Jay's game when no one is looking...![]()
...nah, according Mr. @kotsy..you need to factor in the Tiff spectacle every year where they add cladding just in time for it. Hopefully then the cladding will be a little more advanced the time year 30 rolls around. <3We only get a new storey of glazing for each World Series win. See you all in thirty years for storey five!
I do the same...with the addition of One Delisle, which I think is the other wonderful Toronto project currently under construction. These three make quite the trifecta. Is each panel of the curtainwall ever-so-slightly tinted differently? Can't tell if that's intentional or just the reflection - though it looks great!
I can't believe we're getting this and and KING down the street. I just alternate between these two threads every day to keep my heart aflutter.
THANKS to the boom in the last few years at least it leaves us some architect hertitage ^_^I do the same...with the addition of One Delisle, which I think is the other wonderful Toronto project currently under construction. These three make quite the trifecta.
...while others, bad memories that we have to look at for the ages. >.<THANKS to the boom in the last few years at least it leaves us some architect hertitage ^_^
My literal reaction seeing these pics: WOWDon't usually post outside of 1 Bloor W but here it goes - taken yesterday, Thursday (Oct. 30). More of the new cladding, now on 3 levels.
I straightened the vertical perspective of the image showing the full fancy cladding (XXIMG 7190) - so the size of the windows on the top row seem a lot bigger than they really are in that shot.

It got bargain spandrel'd to death. Along with Form just south of OCAD...This glazing is what Rosario Varacally 1 Yorkville had in the renderings. Very similar design concept. Unfortunately for 1 Yorkville, quality glazing did not happen, just endless mullions.
