The Toronto team for the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) has been using the Mattamy as their home rink for their debut season. It's the smallest of all the PWHL venues, and with constant sellouts, they appear to be looking for a new home.

Still, it's nice to see a pro hockey team call the Maple Leaf Gardens home, even briefly.
 
using the Ex hockey rink for PWHL would likely see far better utilization of that rink than the Marlies see with it.

Plus I have a sneaking feeling the Marlies will be moving down the QEW to Hamilton in a year or two anyway to fill Hamilton's newly renovated rink.

Yep, Coca Cola Coliseum seems like the perfect fit, at about 7,000 seats. However, it's owned by MLSE, and unlike the Marlies, they don't own the PWHL team.
