Have they made provisions for doubling the width of the (double length) Commissioner St bridge and the southern (yellow) New Cherry St bridge for future potential extensions of the streetcar route (needing a second narrower bridge for the streetcar)? Do they still have access to deliver those (extra widening) bridges by water (like the originals)? I would think no for the Commissioner St bridge and maybe for the southern (yellow) New Cherry St bridge

No, the extension of the streetcar along Commissioners to Leslie is at least decade (or more!) away. There are no plans to bring streetcar below the yellow bridge or across the ship channel. There ARE plans (of course, not action!) to bring the QQE streetcar to Cherry & Commissioners and loop on one of the streets running north from Commissioners - Munition, maybe, until the line is brought all the way to Leslie Barns. There was a plan to take the Cherry line over the shipping channel and along Unwin to Leslie and connect to Queen St, but removed from the master about 10 years ago as the city didn't see it until 50 years or more down the road.

TTC removed the Lake Shore LRT back in 2006 from the master plan

I don't see the Commissioner Line until 2050-60 at the current rate of thinking at city level for transit.

The Broadview extension to Harbour Centre may happen by 2040, to Commissioner when Commissioner gets built and over the shipping channel if it happen as plan by 2070. The Commissioner line is to loop the Leslie yard and another example where duel end cars are needed.

QQE LRT line was to open in 2014 and may open 2032-35 with the Cherry extension by 2035-40. TTC believes buses are only needed until the area is fully built out. TTC doesn't believe in Transit Being First like the City compare to Waterfront thinking RT should be first.
 
Is the last Waterfront Toronto aerial video "Construction Progress in the Port Lands" from April 2023? Have they stopped issuing them, for some reason?
 
I hope they preserve the cantilevered control tower as a reminder. Needs new paint though.
