Actually, I'm almost certain that someone told me once that those sculptures are eventually going to weather into a purple colour, but that it would take quite awhile.

I'm curious tho, does anyone know if there's a link between the Air Canada Centre steel sculptures and the steel sculptures at OCAD, underneath the Alsop addition? I've always meant to check the nameplates to see if the same artist was behind both but I never remember to look. The OCAD sculptures actually look like they might be made from the scrap cutouts of the ACC sculptures.

Passed in that area tonite and its mind boggling to see all the cranes and development going on down there. I dont know if there is any other city in North America with this much action.
