Actually, directly west of 145 is 143 Sheppard East - which will remain as 1 storey dental office
Directly west of 143 Sheppard East is 141 & 139 Sheppard East which were previously two separate lots both with 1.5-storey post war bungalows,.... that formed a small land assembly - demolished to make way for one 2-storey building with retail on ground floor and medical offices on 2nd floor and ground floor parking in rear - as I recall, this was all done via Committee of Adjustment

TBH, two storeys sounds like a waste of space for an address this low-digited along the Yonge & Sheppard radius.

Look on the positive, it can be easily demolished, rezone/rebuilt when demands come.
