Looking back on the news stories of November, we begin our Top 10 List at number 15, with an update on the construction of one of Toronto's few active 'starchitect' developments, KING Toronto. Marking our first coverage of the BIG-designed project since late 2021, readers were eager to learn the latest after a year of progress.

It was the Ontario Line that took the attention of readers by storm this month, with two stories earning spots in the top three, while the proposed height increases at Pinnacle One Yonge may turn out to be a pivotal moment in the pursuit of a new tallest building for Canada… but readers proved to be more transit-focussed this month, following closely as the Ontario Line advances towards construction.

Our Top 10 Most Searched Database Files:
We'll open up the Top 10 list of most searched Database files with the project that earned the 14th spot, the dual-tower residential development designed by Frank Gehry, Forma. With preparations getting underway to build the shorter of the two towers now, the second tower of the project will become the tallest building ever designed by the celebrated Canadian-American architect, fitting for it to be in the city where Gehry was born.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Top 10 list looks quite similar to last month, with the addition of Time and Space Condos, a mixed-use, mostly residential development that has been progressing through construction steadily on route to delivering over 1,500 new dwelling units on Downtown's East side. The top three, however, remain unchanged, with The Well and Pinnacle One Yonge holding their spots on the shoulders of The One, a busy month that saw front page news coming from all three projects.

Our Top 10 Busiest Threads:
A double mention opens November's Top 10 busiest Threads list at 14 and 15, with an affirmation that transit still ranks high among the relevant topics to the UT Forum audience. Traffic was up on the thread following Finch West LRT construction, while the news cycle surrounding the Ontario Line made for a lively thread as the project saw contracts awarded and construction coming closer to breaking ground.

Pinnacle One Yonge took a leap in forum engagement in November, jumping from the 5th spot up to second place behind the leading thread of The One - which, as usual, was in a league of its own. The Crosstown LRT came in at number six, placing it well ahead of the two transit projects listed above, while Nobu Residences was able to generate a boost in clicks with some new photography documenting the glazing progress.
