At the southwest corner of Dundas Street East and Church Street in Downtown Toronto, CentreCourt is preparing to build 252 Church, a 52-storey, 679-unit, residential tower right around the corner from Dundas Square. With the Toronto Eaton Centre and recently restored Massey Hall nearby, the building will be just steps from Ryerson University, and within close proximity to the Financial District, making it ideal for both students and working professionals alike.

Considering its location in the heart of the city and its unique, eye-catching design, the project has piqued the interest of both new and life-long Torontonians, borne out by the launch of 252 Church earlier this month, with CentreCourt reporting that the project has already reached the 90% sold mark.

The tower, designed by IBI Group, features a staggered pattern of white frames with black accent panels that the architects liken to piano keys, while at the base of the building, a modern brick and stone podium will boast over 2,000 ft² of new retail space fronting onto both Dundas and Church streets. Acting as an architectural counterpoint, a heritage bank building at the corner of the two streets will be fully restored.

252 Church will offer a total of 18,000ft² of amenity space, with the third level being entirely dedicated to indoor amenity space. The interior amenities, also appointed by IBI Group, will include a 24/7 fully furnished resident lobby, a co-working space, a spacious game room and lounge, and a 5,600 ft² fitness studio. The fitness centre of 252 Church will be unique, as it will include a CrossFit studio and a specially designated Peloton lounge. Outdoor amenity terrace space of 8,700 ft² on the building's northwest corner will feature multiple barbecues and dining areas.

The location of 252 Church also puts it steps from transit: just 300 metres from Dundas subway station on the Yonge-University line, the Dundas streetcar stops right at the corner, meaning you don't even need to walk to the subway to get moving across town quickly.
