The new E Condos project from developers Bazis, Metropia, and RioCan has brought a prominent landmark to Midtown Toronto's skyline after wrapping up the bulk of construction earlier this year. Designed by Rosario Varacalli, the complex includes a 38-storey rental tower (known as E15) on Roehampton Avenue, and a 58-storey condominium tower (known as E8) at the northeast corner of Yonge and Eglinton, the latter being Toronto's tallest building north of the Yorkville neighbourhood.

Aside from bringing a new tallest tower to the neighbourhood, the towers' cantilevered amenity decks and their red glazing have added bold shots of colour to the area skyline, especially when viewed after sunset. Views captured from both the north and south on Yonge Street now draw the eye towards these glowing beacons.

On the taller south tower, the 25th-floor amenity level features a swimming pool with underwater windows facing south towards the Downtown skyline. We got a look inside this space early this year as finishing touches were being installed. Additional interior views captured early last month show that the pool area has since been completed.

The shorter 38-storey rental tower on Roehampton Avenue places its red-glazed amenity deck on the top floor, offering a 4,200 ft² fitness centre among other amenities.
