Here's an idea that has worked wonders on the Canadian Public Transportation Discussion Board to cut down on the endless threads of new bus sightings:
Could it be possible to create a Urban Toronto wiki? I find that half of the flame-wars are caused by disagreements over semantics. If we created an official UT wiki, we could come to consensus about the definition of light rail or the definition of regional rail, or the definition of mobility hub. It would help end some confusion, and it could help the broader community understand the jargon used in politics and planning in this city.
It might also make keeping track of new developments much easier, as you won't have to search through 20 pages of posts to find the height or the number of units.
